How to Turn Off or On UAC - User Account Control Feature in Windows

UAC: Stands for "Users Account Control" and it is a security tool which is provided by Microsoft by default in Windows that helps to prevent intrusion of malicious or malware software. Here this thing we need to remember that, It is not full-fledged anti-malware or an antivirus, but it only does notify of changes that are about to be made to the computer.

Why We Need to Disable UAC

Sometimes we need to turn off this feature due to troubleshooting application problem or anyother reasons. Sometimes, We also need to disable UAC to install some apps like xampp server to work them properly. Be sure to restore this security setting as soon as the issue is resolved.

How to Turn Off UAC

To trun off UAC you have to follow these simple steps given below;

    Click the Start menu. Or simply press     +    S button from keyboard in Windows 10.

    In the search field type UAC.

    Now Click "Change User Account Control settings." from Search results to open UAC Setting.

     In the window that comes up, move the slider down to and select "Never Notify." Click OK and then restart the computer.

That's it we have done it. Now our Users Account Control (UAC) is turned Off. If you need to turn on back this UAC then you simple need to uncheck "Never Notify" and again need to restart your PC.
