8 Steps to Convert Any Picture in to Sketch in Adobe Photoshop CC

Adobe Photoshop is a power Full Software to enhanced or Edit Pictures professionally but maximum people don’t know how to use this fruitful software and some knows only basic functionality of it. There are many ideas to enhance our pictures in Adobe Photoshop some of them is a “Convert any Photo into Sketch”.

Now a days many tiny software available on the web or market to do this task automatically but sometimes we need to do this in Photoshop and maximum people feel difficulty to do this. Here we have created a step by step Guide video to convert any photo in to sketch.

All steps which are mentioned in video above are also mentioned below. If you don’t have time to watch video then just follow the steps to complete this task.

Step 1:

Open A PICTURE WHICH YOU WANT TO CONVERT INTO SKETCH with Adobe Photoshop

Step 2:

Select then background image and then create a DUPLICATE LAYER by pressing (CTRL + J)

Step 4:

Now Go to Images  à Select Adjustments à and then Select Desaturate

Note:

Here You will see that your selected picture will convert into Black and White.

Step 4:

Now here make another Duplicate layer of Layer 1 by pressing Ctrl + J or simple drag and drop layer 1 to Create new layer icon.

Step 5:

Now again go to Images à Adjustments and Select Invert or simply press (Ctrl + I)

Step 6:

Now Click on Normal on Above the layers and then select Linear Dodge (Add). See the Picture below;

Note:

Here you will see that image will totally white.

 

Step 7:

Now Convert the selected Layer in to Smart Object by Right Click on layer and then Select SMART OBJECT from pop-up windows

Step 8:

Now Go to Filter à Blur and then select à Gaussian Blur

Here adjusts the level as you need from the popup windows. That’s it.
